Teresita (Terri) Isidro graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. She also obtained her Master's in Public Affairs with a concentration in Environmental Affairs from the University of Connecticut. She participated in the development of various polymers and additives at Uniroyal Chemical and Cytec industries, and then transitioned to the field of information technology in the 1990s working for private companies and a municipality.
After serving for almost a decade in the public sector as the Webmaster and staff trainer for web-based applications for the City of Stamford, Terri decided to take her love of teaching full time and became a certified science teacher. After teaching in the Stamford and Greenwich Public Schools, Terri joined Wilton Public Schools to develop and launch a very successful middle school STEM program that focused on providing a platform for students to apply Math, science, and engineering skills to solve real problems in a project-based setting.
Terri brings a unique combination of laboratory science experience and technological savvy to the classroom, working hard to create innovative and dynamic high-tech explorations and experiences for her students.
Alpine skiing and touring, long-distance bicycle touring, gardening, fishing, exploring, reading, cooking, and painting are among Terri's favorite activities.Terri has a special connection to Killington as her son participated in the Killington Ski Club programs and she served as a Mountain Ambassador for two years. She is delighted to be a part of the KMS family and to see her "home mountain" on the way to school really makes her smile!. |
