Hanh began her studies as a Chinese language teacher while getting her bachelor's degree from Danang University in Vietnam. She went on to earn a Master's degree in teaching Chinese as a foreign language from Yunnan Normal University in Kunming, China.

She has lived and studied in China for over 3 years and is passionate about teaching and spreading her love of Chinese language and culture with others.

Before coming to the U.S. from Vietnam in 2014, Hanh had only seen snow in the movies, but she now loves living in Vermont and enjoys hiking, rock climbing and learning how to ski.
