The Snowboard Extended Training Program Team, (ETP) is for the snowboard competitors looking for additional coaching, training, and time on snow. The approach will be on training well and training perfect. This program will offer additional training on 16 Fridays, and selected special camp projects. This program starts Friday, December 5 and concludes March 22.

Program Details
- Provides a competitive advantage in slalom, giant slalom, and snowboardcross competition through gate training and race simulation.
- Provides a competitive advantage in rail jams, slopestyle, and halfpipe competition.
- Focuses on fundamental riding techniques and skill development in all disciplines of the sport as well as psychological training tactics, snowboard tuning and filming.
- Competition coaching in the highly competitive USASA Southern Vermont Series, neighboring USASA and other event series as chosen by the coaching staff, and in local competitions such as the K-town Showdown Series
- Coaching at all regional USASA events and transportation is subject to availability.
- Lodging and competition fees are not included in the program fees. Parents are required to pay in advance for all travel-related expenses.
- Coaching at the USASA Nationals is an additional $500 for those that qualify and attend.
Program Requirements and information
- USASA Membership is required to compete in the USASA Southern Vermont Series events.
- All programs must be paid in full by the first day of the program. No exceptions will be made without prior arrangements with the program director.
- A helmet is mandatory.
- A mouth guard and back brace are strongly recommended.
- Membership in the Killington Ski Club is required for all KSC/KMS program members. This membership entitles you to full use of the club building, including tuning facilities, as well as participation in KSC-sponsored social activities and other offerings.
- Participation in the KSC/KMS Work Obligation Program is required for all families in the competition programs. This allows us to adequately staff competition events at Killington and provide a quality experience for our athletes in their home events.
- Each athlete must have a Killington Unlimited Season Pass.
- The coaching staff will send weekly emails with logistical details for the upcoming weekend.
Program Fees
- $500.00 on or before October 16
- $600.00 from October 17 to November 16
- $700.00 after November 17

Program dates, meeting times, holiday period training & lunch
- Program starts Friday December 5, 2014
- Friday: 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Lunch Time: 12 – 12:45 p.m.
- All scheduled training and competition is dependent on weather and snow conditions
- Conditioning Programs at KMS may be scheduled as an alternative training program.
- The program ends on March 27, 2015
