This option offers young student-athletes a great way to transition into the winter or full-term programs by providing an extended experience at KMS. KMS recognizes that not all seventh- and eighth-grade students are ready to spend five months focused on academic and athletic excellence, and the development program—with the same small, individualized classes and high-quality coaching as the winter-term program—provides those student-athletes with the KMS experience in a smaller serving. The shorter session allows the student-athletes to build skills they will need as winter-term or full-term students while still spending most of the school year at their sending schools.
